Sarah Ryerson Named to Lead TMX Datalinx

September 5, 2018 (TORONTO) - TMX Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Ryerson as President of TMX Datalinx, effective September 10, 2018.

Ms. Ryerson joins TMX from Google, where she held leadership roles in sales and business strategy in Canada and the United States. Most recently, she served as Head of Industry, Financial Services and was responsible for driving revenue growth and innovation in the Canadian banking and insurance sector. Prior to joining Google, Ms. Ryerson designed and implemented business strategies for private and public sector clients across a wide range of industries while at McKinsey & Company.

Ms. Ryerson will be responsible for leading the growth of TMX Datalinx, the information services division of TMX Group which provides a broad spectrum of real-time and historical data solutions to clients around the world. Ms. Ryerson's key areas of focus will include developing new products, implementing enhanced commercial models and expanding the business into new markets. Ms. Ryerson is a graduate of Princeton University and holds an MBA, Strategic Management from Wharton Business School. She will report to Mr. McIver.
