TMX Insights Adds Proven Leader to New Data Science Team

Tom Wadden named Head of Data Science and Analytics

March 7, 2016 (TORONTO) – TMX Insights, a division of TMX Market Insights, today announced that it has named Tom Wadden, Head of Data Science and Analytics, effective immediately. Today's announcement follows closely on the heels of last month's commercial launch of TMX Analytics, a cloud-based, real-time equity markets trading data and analysis application. In this newly created role reporting to the Director of TMX Insights, Mr. Wadden is responsible for leading a team of experts applying scientific methods to deliver value-added, multi-asset class global data and advanced analytics tools and applications to a wide range of industry clients.

He joins TMX Group after 13 years at TD Bank where held several roles in trading, operations & technology, and served most recently as Head, Centre for Operational Excellence, Corporate Technology.
